Maria Luisa Malta 开心果
Founder | Brazilian Corporate Lawyer & International Business AdvisorLawyer by training. Connector by nature.
Maria Luisa Malta is a Brazilian corporate lawyer and international business professional who has built her career connecting businesses, people and opportunities across borders.
With a strong foundation in Brazilian law and extensive experience working between Brazil and China, she brings together legal expertise, commercial insight, institutional relationships and a deep understanding of how business operates across different cultures.
Her approach is grounded in a simple conviction: successful international business requires more than knowing the rules of a market. It requires knowing how to navigate it, whom to trust and how to turn opportunities into results.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Direito Rio), one of Brazil’s leading law schools, where she established the legal foundation that continues to guide her work with companies operating and investing in Brazil.
Her international education includes academic studies at the Law School of Renmin University of China in Beijing, an institution recognized for its strength in law and social sciences, and participation in the BRICS Program at Fudan University in Shanghai, where she expanded her understanding of international economic cooperation, emerging markets and the relationship between Brazil, China and other global economies.
This combination of Brazilian legal education and international academic experience has shaped a professional perspective that is both locally grounded and globally oriented.
Professionally, Maria has worked with Brazilian and Chinese law firms, supporting international clients on Brazilian corporate law, foreign investment, market entry, regulatory matters, commercial agreements and cross-border business operations.
As an independent legal and business advisor, she has assisted foreign companies through different stages of their activities in Brazil, from market assessment, corporate structuring and legal representation to negotiations, strategic partnerships and ongoing business development.
Her institutional experience is equally important. Through her coordination role in Brazil–China initiatives within the Brazilian Bar Association in Rio de Janeiro (OAB/RJ), she contributes to international legal cooperation, institutional dialogue, professional exchanges and business delegations.
Her involvement with the Federation of Foreign Trade Chambers (FCCE) and international business networks further reflects her engagement with the legal, commercial and institutional dimensions of cross-border business.
A Brazilian legal foundation, an international business perspective and a network built through years of direct engagement.
